I was looking to buy a house for under $575,000, which is apparently a very competitive market. We had to go see houses immediately when they came onto the market to have any chance. Barbara emphasized this to me and then practiced what she preached by being available nearly whenever I needed her. Barbara made a difficult process as smooth as possible and was a great advocate on my behalf throughout. Some days I emailed and called her multiple times, and she always made time for me. Referrals from experienced realtors often indicate solid expertise, and that was certainly the case here. Barbara was knowledgeable and patient, as we looked at many properties over more than a year. When we found the property we wanted, Barbara's negotiation skills came to the fore, and we were well satisfied with the results. She guided us though the escrow process, which required considerable more negotiation, and even referred us to many good local contacts (pool, yard maintenance, tradespeople for repairs, etc).
